*According to additional information provided by the community on 3/2011: This is Alpha Montogomery ESQ. One of the first Afircan-American attorneys in San Diego. Montgomery later became a Judge for the San Diego Court. He and his wife Katherine built a modern style home in Emerald Hills. Ebony Magazine did a feature on thier home and dubbed it “the place to live.”
**Additional information from the community on 03/2011: A member of the community said Alpha Mongomery was her divorce attorney in 1955. He had an office on Imperial Avenue, was soft spoken and polite.
