*According to additional information provided by the community on 3/2011: Third from left is Octaviano Quintero. He owned Corky’s Pest Control which he named after “Corky” Gonzalez who began the “crusade for justice” in Denver, Colorado in 1960. Gonzalez was also a champion boxer.
**According to additional information provided by the community on 4/2011: This mural is on the south side of Logan Ave. in the 2000 block. Parts of the mural have been painted out (guns and bullets in mural imagery removed). The owner of Corky’s was Octaviano Pintero (not Quintero) according to the 1974 San Diego City Directory.
