(Documentary Artifact): One hand-colored lantern slide of an unidentified woman kneeling before a slab of stone (possibly piki stone, see Scholar Advisory Committee notes below) in the corner of a room. Her hair hangs in two twisted pigtails and she wears a cloth dress.

According to additional information provided on 12/2011 by a member of the E.H. Davis Project Scholar Advisory Committee: This looks like a piki stone, she is probably Hopi making piki bread, blue corn bread baked quickly in paper-thin sheets over a hot flat stone.
