(Documentary Artifact): One b/w photographic print of an outdoor portrait of Jose Juan Piapa (or Paipa). See also OP 12572-150; notes with this print state that he was a fruit picker and had a lot of family. An agent gave them a small piece of land on Santa Ysabel and gave them a house (not Santa Ysabel Indians).

**According to additional information provided on 10/2011 by a member of the E.H. Davis Project Scholar Advisory Committee: The name today is Paipa. Some Paipas live in Santa Ysabel.
