DESCRIPTION:\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n					\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n			 \n				\n				\n				\n				\n					\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n					Aloha Vaqueros – Opening Reception\nOCTOBER 17\, 6:00 PM \n				\n			 \n				\n				\n				\n					The San Diego History Center in Balboa Park presents Aloha Vaqueros\, a new exhibition that takes visitors on a journey through the cultural blending between San Diego\, California\, and Mexico’s vaqueros (cowboys) that gave rise to Hawaii’s paniolos\, or “Hawaiian cowboys.” This unique exhibition explores and reveals the shared history and enduring legacy of vaquero culture\, which continues to shape modern ranching and cultural celebrations in San Diego\, Mexico\, California and Hawaii today. \nJoin us for the opening reception\, Thursday October 17 at 6:00 pm.
