Did you know that the San Diego History Center has a wealth of research resources online? Join Dr. Tina Zarpour to plumb the depths of online and digitized historical resources available through SDHC’s website. This interactive session will feature research question “scenarios” posed by audience members\, and some strategies for locating those resources. Email your query to tzarpour@sandiegohistory.org by Jan 4\, 2021\, and it may be one of the ones addressed during the program! \n				\n			 \n				\n				\n				\n					Speaker and bio:Tina Zarpour\, Ph.D. joined the San Diego History Center in March 2015 and currently oversees collections\, education and exhibitions. Tina holds a Master in Applied Anthropology and a PhD from the University of Maryland\, College Park. Tina’s academic expertise is with immigrant communities and their histories of immigration. She has nearly 20 years of experience working as a museum leader\, and project manager and independent consultant in museums and cultural institutions across the country\, including the Museum of Man\, the Witte Museum in San Antonio\, Texas and with the Program in Latino History and Culture at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History\, and the National Museum of Natural History. She was a 2004 Fellow with the Smithsonian Latino Museum Studies Program.
