Explore the archaeological site buried beneath the hillside below the museum and discover why this river valley has drawn people for thousands of years. Learn how archaeologists and historians have uncovered the Presidio’s history and reconstructed the buildings that once stood there. \nAfter the tour\, explore the museum’s exhibits and the stories of the Kumeyaay people\, who have lived in the region since time immemorial\, along with the many communities that helped shape the Presidio over time. \n\nLocation: Junípero Serra Museum\, 2727 Presidio Drive\, San Diego\, CA 92103\nFree | Registration required; space is limited.\n\nAccessibility Note: The Serra Museum is not currently ADA accessible.
