Under her leadership\, this dusty seaside plot of land—popularly known as Lomaland—was transformed into a lush\, vibrant “White City” that became a center of learning and culture. \nPlease join us for a special presentation by local historian and teacher Kenneth Small that explores how Lomaland became the cultural and artistic hub of a growing San Diego. \nSan Diego native Kenneth Small\, whose parents were longtime Lomaland residents\, is a teacher of Zen meditation\, esoteric traditions\, Theosophy\, and ethno-botany.
