Barry is a dedicated volunteer who is passionate about bringing San Diego history to life.  \nThis presentation begins by looking at the region’s original inhabitants\, including the Kumeyaay\, tracks the changes made by the arrival of the Spanish\, the handover to the Mexican government following their declaration of independence from Spain\, and the beginning of American control in the region.
