Conceived to promote and encourage dialogue\, reflection and social interaction about San Diego’s artistic and cultural life\, this annual award honors artistic expression. \nFor the first time ever\, the San Diego History Center will be hosting this annual exhibition\, which will run through March 2025. Curated by Dr. Lara Bullock\, Senior Civic Art Manager\, City of San Diego\, this year’s selection reflects a diverse choice of three artist chosen by a national selection committee. Intriguing fractured images reflect the cracks in our society from artist Gabriel Boils\, while family\, nature\, memory are the subjects of the work of Francisco Eme who hopes to start a dialogue with the public.
