On the forefront of the region’s growth in the early 20th century with the communities of North Park\, Burlingame\, Kensington\, Talmadge\, Mission Hills\, Pt. Loma\, and La Mesa\,  Pear Pearson’s homes and business buildings helped create the fabric of what makes these communities unique\, identifiable and so beloved today.\n \nIn this San Diego 101 presentation\, Kari Koskinen will reveal the lasting impact of Pear Pearson and her personal\, decade-long project to document\, preserve and promote the history of his imprint on the San Diego region.   \n \nPresenter:  Kari Koskinen\n \nBio: \n \nKari Koskinen holds a B.A. in History from Scripps College\, Claremont\, CA.  She did post-graduate studies in History at San Diego State University before entering her 33 year career in the field of Secondary Education.  Kari is a San Diego native\, the granddaughter of Pear Pearson\, and has maintained and preserved the many records and ephemera of Pear Pearson’s life and career. \n				\n			 \n				RSVP HERE\n			\n			 \n				\n				\n			 \n				\n				\n			 			\n			\n
