Internship Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in the internship opportunities at the San Diego History Center!

Internships at SDHC are unpaid learning experiences for students who are currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program from an accredited institution. Successful candidates earn academic credit while participating in the day-to-day operations of one of San Diego’s leading museums. Though generally assigned to a specific area in the organization, the intern experience may also include temporary assignments and rotations with other departments including Administration, Collections, Development, Education, Exhibitions, and Visitor Engagement.

Acceptance into the internship program is competitive and based upon academic achievements, interests, experience, related skills, and availability.
