(Documentary Artifact): One b/w photographic print of a rancher’s wife, Petra Lachapa Cota. She poses outdoors wearing a blouse, skirt, and shawl wrapped around her shoulders. Similar to OP 12572-84; notes on this print state: Used to lead the rosary at wakes.

According to additional information provided by the community on 5/2012: Petra Cota is the daughter of Juan Diego La Chappo (Chappa) (Inaja) and Angela Wacheno (Tekumuk/Mesa Grande). She was a prayer singer — musha (name called by).
