According to additional information provided on 12/2011 by Richard Carrico, a member of the E.H. Davis Project Scholar Advisory Committee: This is the old bridge (still standing in 2011 and determined to be a historically significant bridge) now replaced by a newer bridge near Black Canyon on the old road from Highway 78 to Mesa Grande via what is now Magnolia Avenue east of Ramona. This area was, and still is, a favorite picnic spot and is located west of Sutherland Dam.
