Notes on negative envelope:
86:15900-1055-1056/ Davis Coll./ dup. Neg./ Indian pictographs/ on rocks near Perris/ Dec. 1930/ 2 Negs.
According to additional information provided on 10/2011 by Ken Hedges, Emeritus Curator of California Collections, San Diego Museum of Man and a member of the E.H. Davis Project Scholar Advisory Committee: These are the pictographs at the Old Penny Ranch site, CA-RIV-114, now within the University of California Motte Rimrock Reserve in Perris, Riverside County. Most of the bright white spots in image 1055 are gunshot damage, showing that most of this vandalism, still obvious today, occurred before 1930.
