(Documentary Artifact): One b/w negative of candles placed at graves in a cemetery of a Mesa Grande church. According to Davis, this event is part of La Noche De Las Velas, or the Night of the Candles on November 2 (All Souls Day). According to the original negative envelope, the film was exposed for 20-25 minutes, during which time the candles (about 1,500) were relit after being blown out by the wind. This created the streaks of light captured in the photograph.
