According to additional information provided on 12/2011 by Richard Carrico, a member of the E.H. Davis Project Scholar Advisory Committee: I(Y)sidro Nejo glossed from Neexo or Neexa, was born at Julian and lived many years at the old village of San Pasqual and later at Mesa Grande. He was one of John P. Harrington’s primary consultants and appears in many of Harrington’s notes and photographs from the 1925-27 period.
