(Documentary Artifact): Two b/w photographic prints of Maria Antonia Sunot sitting outdoors in a chair, weaving a basket. She wears a long-sleeve blouse, skirt, ring and bracelet. Similar to OP 15362-989; according to Davis’ notes associated with the print, Maria Antonia Sunot was the mother of a large family. Three of her children died from tuberculosis contracted at non-reservation boarding schools. Seven more children contracted the disease by contact and died and she also died of the same disease.
