(Documentary Artifact): One b/w photographic print of an elderly man and right arm amputee, Pacencio, standing in front of his house, possibly made of palm leaves with a woven mat door. According to notes on the verso of the print, he is the last of the Cochimi Indians. He wears a dark-colored eye covering and checkered-print shirt and pants.
Same image as the National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) print, P07796. According to catalog record for this image, the man is Jose Jerardo and wears a leather eye mask to protect his eyeless sockets.
