(Documentary Artifact): One b/w photographic print of three men standing outdoors, holding up wheat straw crosses tied with ribbons and bows. The crosses are attached to poles to hold the crosses aloft. Notes on the verso of the print state: ‘Ken Hedges of S.D.M.O.M. [San Diego Museum of Man] has not seen these in ceremonies but believes the location to be So. Calif., possibly Campo area. Ramadas are similar to those built in this area.’
