Building to the Next Level: Forum for Local History Groups

Co-Sponsored with the Congress of History of San Diego and Imperial Counties

The San Diego History Center and the Congress of History are co-sponsoring a special morning for all area historical societies. “Building to the Next Level: Forum for Local History Groups” will feature vital topics like building your membership and volunteer base, developing partnerships with other community players, using social media for fundraising and marketing, going after grants, and audience engagement. Skilled facilitators will run the sessions. This is a great opportunity to network with other keepers of the flame in a “case study and dialogue” format, and learn new ways of running  local history operations.
