Through a mix of casual storytelling, poetry, and video, this talk will explore one Filipino family’s experience with migration, state violence, and the ongoing struggle for social justice. 

 Dr. Jason Magabo Perez is the author of the hybrid poetry and prose book, This is for the mostless. Perez works as Assistant Professor of Ethnic Studies at CSU San Marcos, and serves as both current Artist-in-Residence at the Center for Art and Thought and inaugural Community Arts Fellow at the Bulosan Center for Filipino Studies.
