JAZZ ROCKS STATE! A Crooner’s Event

JAZZ ROCKS STATE! A Crooner’s Event

San Diego State University has played an important role in changing mindsets through music.  Join us as we celebrate National Jazz Appreciation Month and explore SDSU’s dynamic jazz heritage. Anthropology Professor, Dr. Seth Mallios, spins the historical narrative offset by jazz music performed by local musicians, along with a photo montage marking the impact that jazz had on San Diego audiences during the Civil Rights Movement.
