Experience a “behind-the-scenes” look at the documentary making process as filmmaker, Isaac Artenstein, shares experiences and reflections on his new project, “The Journeys of Harry Crosby,” about the pioneer photographer and historian of the Baja California peninsula. His in-depth interviews with Harry Crosby focused on the work and travels in Baja California that resulted in Crosby’s now-classic books that include The King’s Road, The Caves of Baja California, and Antigua California. Artenstein will also discuss tracing Crosby’s journeys with his film crew, inspired by Crosby’s marvelous photographs of the people, and the cultural and natural landscapes of the magic peninsula.
The project is now in post-production with principal photography completed in late 2019. The San Diego History Center has launched an IndieGoGo campaign to raise the final $30,000 to bring this project to completion.
Guests will receive a confirmation message following sign-up.
