History Center Collections staff will share their knowledge and experience on how to care for a variety of objects, from documents and photographs to painting and clothing, always with an eye toward preservation. Collections staff will show unique, one-of-a-kind objects from the History Center collection and discuss specific preservation methods that have been employed to extend the life of those objects. At the end of the program, there will be a question and answer session where participants can ask for specific feedback on how to care for their own items.
Presenters include: Chris Travers, Director of Photograph Collection; Jane Kenealy, Archivist; and Tammie Bennett, Registrar.
