SAN DIEGO MEMORIES III: A TIME OF CHANGE – The 1960’s and 1970

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2020 AT 5:30PM ON ZOOM

As part of the San Diego History Center’s GIVING TUESDAY presentation , Roger Showley, author, historian and former San Diego Union Tribune writer will reveal some of the key moments in this period of our community’s past, as America experienced the Vietnam War, the civil rights movement, environmentalism and rock n’ roll.

Produced in partnership with the San Diego Union Tribune, and featuring the historic images of both archives, San Diego Memories III is a visually stunning look at this pivotal time in our region’s past. The book also features community memories and photographs submitted by the general public through community scanning events.

Just in time for the holidays, SAN DIEGO MEMORIES III makes a perfect gift and is currently available for pre-order at a special price of $24.95 through November 30th.
