(Documentary Artifact): One b/w photographic print of a blind man, Lucario Cuevish (also spelled Locario Chavish/Chaves/Chavez), standing outdoors. He is barefoot and wears a headband, collared shirt, and pants.

(Documentary Artifact): One b/w photographic print of Maria Antonia Sunot sitting outdoors in a chair with a basket in her lap. She wears a cloth blouse and skirt, ring, and bracelet. According to Davis’ notes, Maria Antonia Sunot was the mother of a large family. Three of her children died from tuberculosis contracted at non-reservation boarding schools. Seven more children contracted the disease by contact and died and she also died of the same disease.

(Documentary Artifact): One b/w photographic print of a group of riders on horseback or standing next to horses carrying large packs. Davis’ notes read: ‘Working down, near foot of trail to the Borrego Valley. My empty horse in the lead. Note rifle scabbard on side of horse – Borrego Mts, Cal Feb. 1910.’
