(Documentary Artifact): One b/w photographic print of a group of riders on horseback or standing next to horses carrying large packs in the desert. Davis’ notes read: ‘Our pack outfit at foot of trail. Palm Mt in background. The Mts start up abruptly from the desert with no foot hills – Borego [Borrego] Valley – Colorado, desert S.D. Co Cal. 1910.’
