COMMUNITY HISTORY ARCHIVING EVENT: Rancho Bernardo Library:

The San Diego History Center is hosting a series of Community History Archiving Events throughout county libraries this spring into early summer. The purpose of these events is to gain information on what stories and aspects of San Diego history we are missing, especially as it pertains to the mid-to-late 20th century. Our goal is to collect, document and preserve the inclusive history, representative of all of San Diego’s communities, past and present!

We invite community members to bring their historically significant photos and documents to share information with us. We will have recording equipment, as well as scanning and digitization equipment on hand. We will also be sharing pointers on how to preserve family history!
