Dora and her husband, a druggist, settled in San Diego about 1924. She received some of her art training from Charles Reiffel and also Ruby Usher. As a member of the San Diego Art Guild, Women Painters of the West, and California Art Club, she exhibited frequently in California, particularly during the 1930s. Some of her San Diego fishing and harbor scenes were exhibited at the Argent Galleries in New York in 1943. No mention is found of her in San Diego after that date.
