KUSI showcases Archaeology Family Day at the Serra Museum

On Saturday October 19th, families came together at the Junípero Serra Museum in Presidio Park for a fun-filled day of archaeology. San Diego History Center Ambassador Elsa Sevilla went onto KUSI Good Morning San Diego to share about the special event.
Archaeology Family Day offered hands-on, kid-friendly activities like excavation simulations and artifact investigation to learn the importance of archeological digs. For the adults, there was an informative session about the archeological digs that happened at the Presidio in the 1960s and 70s. The Junípero Serra Museum will be open on weekends throughout the winter months.
